Admission Requirements

All applicants to Matai’s programs and workshops must have completed their higher secondary education (12th grade) or possess an acceptable equivalent qualification by the course start date. While there is no minimum GPA requirement, proficiency in English is necessary for those planning to study in US and a strong commitment to exploring the art of visual storytelling are essential. Applicants who wish to come to the US will be interviewed in English by a member of the Admissions Committee, either via phone or in person. All applicants must possess the drive and commitment necessary to complete a rigorous, total immersion program. They must be able to communicate well and work collaboratively with others in an artistic environment. Each program requires different Supplemental Materials.
